Yoga - Is it something related to Hinduism?
(I am
sorry guys for not so good writing skills, I am new to this thing but I promise
the future posts will go better. Let me know if you have any suggestions or
topics which I can put down. Coming back to topic)
Yoga and Hinduism is related to each other. But just think twice. Doesn't all religions teaches us to find inner peace, get close to god, body maintenance, focusing on physical and mental strength, etc. We humans made this religions based on different school of thoughts and philosophy. Doesn't Lord Krishna bless Christians, Muslims, Jewish or other religions!! Doesn't Allah or Lord Jesus bless Hindus, Sikhs, Jain, or other children belong to other religion!!
All god (we claim to be different) are equally willing or well being of human kind. Yoga is nothing different but a step to a better, pure and healthy life style.
If someone is relating this to a particular religion, then it is not worth it . We need to look into the positive things of Yoga. Yoga was introduced roughly by 6th and 5th centuries BCE. Yoga gurus from India later introduced yoga to the west, following the success of Swami Vivekananda in the late 19th and early 20th century. In the 1980 s, yoga became popular as a system of physical exercise across the Western world.
Chanting 'OM' during yoga also have its own positive effects on our mental and physical conditioning.
The sustained 'O' -formed by the
'AU'- sound makes all the bones of the thoracic cage vibrate, proving that
vibration is communicated to the mass of air contained in our lungs and that
the delicate membrane of alveolus in contact with this air vibrates too, this
stimulates the pulmonary cells and enables an optimum gaseous exchange in our
lungs. Furthermore, the latest research of many Western physiologists has also
shown how this vibration produces very accentuated effects in the endocrine
glands, to which Science is gradually attributing an increasing importance.
Besides, the vibrant internal massage
resulting from the emission of the vowels 'au', acts especially in the
abdominal organs and the organs of the thoracic cage, whilst the vibration of
the 'mmm' in our skulls induces a vibration of the cranial nerves.
I know this is quite a “scientific
thing” but this is the fact that none can deny.
So, closing this topic by just saying
that please believe in healthy living rather than making it a religious stuff.
We are God’s little ones, he always wants us to be healthy and live a fruitful
meaningful life. Make the most of your life.
Stay Blessed, Stay Healthy !!
